Case of mahogany with rosewood cross-banding and mounts of chased and lacquered brass. Six fluted legs with brass collars and castor feet, two at back and four at front. An extra leg in centre at back. The sound board pierced and inlaid with brass. Maker's trade-card set in a brass frame describes piano as 'New Patent'.
