Moulded fibre glass
Circ.329-1970

Moulded fibre glass is used to produce a single, looping form of sculptural perfection which both expresses and serves its purpose with economy. The fluted moulding provides a high ratio of strength to weight while expressing a sense of movement. The long line of the lower curve provides a ledge for the feet. This chair was apparently never mass-produced although it was featured in the firm's showrooms, particularly at the annual Milan Furniture Fair, the major trace show of the design-led section of the international furniture trade.
