Tie, knitted, grey ground with red spots, designed by Mary Quant in about 1974. The tie was owned and worn by Quincy Connell who drove the Mary Quant ‘Beauty Bus’ between 1972 and 1974. Quant used the Beauty Bus to advertise and sell her make-up products and it travelled widely, including in North and South America.
