Mary Quant is one of Britain’s most well-known and influential designers. She designed this grey wool dress in about 1962. It has a high roll-neck and three buttons down the centre front. This is a feature repeated in other Quant designs. The dress was worn by Annabel Mackay (nee Taylor) a former employee of Mary Quant Ltd.
