A sheet of blue paper with manuscript notes and drawings in ink by Wilhelm (William John Charles Pitcher) on both sides. The front side is headed 'Notes about the Toy Dresses' and has two swatches of fabric attached, one in blue (in its original condition) and one in green, which is torn with part of it missing. On the front side there are two drawings and notes in ink, titled 'Frog Dress' and 'Chinese Bogey'. On the reverse side there are drawings and notes, also in ink, for three costumes titled 'The Jap Bull', 'Bouncing Bobby' and 'Chinese Kylon', as well as notes only for three other costumes. The costumes are for The Toy Bazaar in Act 1, Scene 1 of Chin-Chin, a musical fantasy in three acts, with seven scenes, based on the story of Aladdin. Book by Anne Caldwell and R. H. Burnside, lyrics by Anne Caldwell and music by Ivan Caryll. Produced at the Globe Theatre, New York, on 20 October 1914.
