Sun-dress of roller-printed cotton. With a full flared skirt, and white pique flaps along the edge of the bodice top, the pocket flaps and pique shoulder straps. The dress buttons down the centre back skirt with a row of large white buttons. Wedge-shaped patch pockets on the front hips. The fabric is a black ground cotton roller-printed with a design of cigarettes and old-style cigarette packets including Player's Navy Cut, Player's Airman, Churchman's Top Score Cigarettes, Churchman's No 1 Cigarettes, Capstan Navy Cut Cigarettes, and Wills' Gold Flake Honeydew. Printed in yellow, red, blue, green and black.
