Physical description	Hat with a wide oval brim and high crown. The hat is formed from a black cotton velvet ground pleated to shape. It is stiffened with card at the interior and faced with a band of leather at the interior of the brim. The exterior of the hat is decorated with strands of ribbon in interchanging tones of red, cream and purple. Handwritten annotation reading ‘Clark’ in black ink has been added to the interior.
