These boots were produced for Mary Quant's footwear range, ‘Quant Afoot’, introduced in 1967. These boots showcase a very interesting design by Quant, named 'Daddy Longlegs', with the ankle zipper allowing the boots to be altered into shoes and back into boots at the wearer’s discretion. This is a particularly significant design within the Quant Afoot range and is captured in marketing photographs as well as film reels from fashion shows and press launches.

Physical description
A pair of boots designed by Mary Quant for her Quant Afoot range, c.1967. The boots are made from yellow plastic. The shaft of the boots can be detached using the zipper around the ankle to transform them into shoes. The heel of the boots has the Mary Quant’s trademark daisy.
