Physical description
Parasol with red silk for the canopy, and trimmed with lines of black silk. The ferule is made from plastic/resin [?]. The parasol has a wooden handle surmounted by a doll's head covered with beige cotton [this cotton also shows signs of staining and wear]. Strips of black satin have been wound around the head running from the crown to the base of the chin.
