Stella McCartney’s focus on sustainable materials has led it to collaborate with other companies. In partnership with supplier Zegna Baruffa, it developed the first Cradle to Cradle Certified Gold Level wool yarn in 2017. The Cradle to Cradle certificates assess the materials, recycling potential, energy sources, carbon emissions, water usage and social fairness of products.
This outfit includes recycled nylon and cashmere regenerated from pre-consumer manufacturing waste in Italy. The shoes are also made of recycled polyester from plastic water bottles.
