Petticoat skirt of painted and dyed cotton chintz and with floral design on a white ground. Flowering branch with flowers stemming from an undulating garland of flowers. Blue band at the selvage edge and the beginning of the length is indicated by three groups of two short brocaded lines of red cotton. Just above these are letters in Tamil script. The petticoat is pleated into a narrow waistband and has side openings.
