Cartouche arms, surmounted by the royal crown, of Elizabeth I stamped in gold on the upper and lower covers. Formerly with cloth ties. Gilt edges.
Inscription on title: E Libris John. Wilh. Makie. Febr. 16. 1803. Ex dono amici venerande Thoma Mears.
With the printed address label (?) on front pastedown: Saml Sandars Esq 7 Devere Gardens Kensington London Eng. Donated by Henry J.B. Clements in 1940.
