Object history
This t-shirt was designed by Mr. Freedom. The boutique was opened in 1969 on the King's Road, Chelsea, by Tommy Roberts. It sold glam, cutting-edge clothes which enjoyed a revival in the 1990s. The t-shirt was part of an ensemble presented at the Street Style exhibition, in the section 'GLAM' as 'GLAM UK early 1970s'. The rest of the ensemble was made of a red feather boa (T.100-1994), velvet trousers (lent by Faebhean Kwest) and ballet shoes.
