Full length sleeveless pale pink crêpe-de-Chine nightdress, bias cut, and with layered shadow appliques of the same fabric over darker pink crêpe-de-Chine at the neckline, arranged to portray two loving doves with their wings extending over the cut away shoulder straps.
Front seam and back seam, with bias triangular additions at the hemline, but with no side seams. No seam at the waist. The neck is low at the front and plunges to a deep V at the back. Fastens at the back with two long sashes into which the bodice front is gathered. Edges are finely bound in satin, and the garment is hand stitched.
