Photo-realist paintings and prints are based on photographs and imitate their characteristics. For this print Morley used a holiday snap which he then reproduced in screenprint using the commercial dot process. His use of intense exaggerated colour lifts a banal everyday image and gives it a bizarre hallucinatory quality.
