Dan Graham has been an influential figure in minimal and conceptual art since the 1960s, working across media in fine art, performance, film and video, and architecturally related practices. This print was made at the University Press at the Nova Scotia College of Art and Design in Canada during an important rise of interest and talent in printmaking - fellow artists Gerald Ferguson, Eric Fischl, Garry Neill Kennedy and Sol Le Witt also made prints at the College during the 1970s.

Physical description | The print depicts a grid of eight squares by eight squares. The top left square is bisected by a diagonal line, with 'Time Extended' written in one of the triangles created, and 'Distance Extended' written in the other. the square in the bottom right corner is also bisected by a diagonal line in the opposite direction, and each square spreading away from this toward the top left corner has a progressively smaller dash in parallel to this. |
