Large green felt beret cut from two pieces, the circular top and a band attached round it to give the necessary depth. The bottom edge is stiffened with a band of straw covered with grosgrain and trimmed with a length of brown mink. There is a lining of net.

The back of the hat-band has a label woven in red on white 'Vernier / London W1'
