This Qingbai bowl, characterised by its glassy, pale blue glaze and delicate form became warped and fused to its saggar during the firing process. The firing process is highly sensitive and kiln temperatures, as well as a number of other variable factors such as oxygen levels, had to be very carefully controlled in order to ensure successful results.
