Daguerreotype made directly from a painting of the coronation of Queen Victoria by Sir George Hayter in 1839, which is now in the Royal Collection (RCIN 405409). The daguerreotype is in a cream card mount and glazed. The verso of the object is backed with paper. The mount and glazing are held together with a red tape edging.

Daguerreotype made directly from a painting of the coronation of Queen Victoria by Sir George Hayter in 1839, which is now in the Royal Collection (RCIN 405409). The daguerreotype is in a cream card mount and glazed. The verso of the object is backed with paper. The mount and glazing are held together with a red tape edging.
