Large, outsize hat made from plaited natural straw with a very broad, deep, rounded crown and wide brim. The crown is left bare, the brim is trimmed with garlands of small, artificial flowers in pink, green and white cotton, interlaced with cream silk satin ribbon, which trails down the back. The crown is lined with white silk and a label bearing the retailer 'Magasins du Louvre Rayon de Modes', is stitched inside the crown.
