Daguerreotype of a three-quarter length portrait of a young woman. The daguerreotype is in a decorated gold-coloured mount, with a rectangular-shaped window with rounded corners. This mount was put on the plate the wrong way up, as the inscription in the top corner is upside-down. This daguerreotype is in the bottom half of a leather-coated wooden case. Parts of the original clasps are still attached on the right-hand side of the case.

Physical description
Daguerreotype of a three-quarter length portrait of a young woman. The daguerreotype is in a decorated gold-coloured mount, with a rectangular-shaped window with rounded corners.
