It is embroidered in coloured silk twist in satin, short and long stitches and couched with silver filé, in a pattern of large flowers. The side edges are bound with ivory silk grosgrain ribbon; the binding along the top edge has been unpicked
The 2 buttonholes are later additions, probably for fancy dress.
