Bathing costume of printed cotton and nylon jersey. It has a halter neck tie and heavy metal zip fastening on the left hand side. The top consists of printed cotton plaid in yellow, red and white. It is set into the body of the costume with curved shapes outlining the bust. Long, triangular ties cross at the neck front and are secured at the back of the neck. The body of the costume is a heavy weight yellow-gold nylon jersey. The side seams are reinforced with binding and the leg openings have broad hems. There is a woven red on white label attached to the centre back.
