Little Inventors is a company which helps children see their imagination come to life. It encourages creativity and self-belief; it allows children to work alongside professionals and take control of the creative process. Oliver, age 6 from Sunderland, created the Handy hi-5 as something that children could use to get instant high fives.
The piece which is voice activated is a result of Tony Cannings work. Tony Canning, a digital maker, and manager at FabLab Sunderland realised the vision of Oliver’s design and even incorporated a foam version of Oliver’s hand in the completed design.
