This elegant skyscraper, at 42-stories, was designed by Bruce Graham, one of the noted design partners of SOM whose most well-known work was the John Hancock Tower, Chicago. 33 North Dearborn was completed in 1967. The perspective is by the important late-20th century international perspectivist (‘renderer’ in American) Helmut Jacoby, in high demand for making black ink drawings of proposed buildings by many of the best architects of the period.
