Physical description

Accordian folding paper peepshow with slipcase. 4 cut-out panels. Hand-coloured lithography. The peepshow is of a Romaneque building. The slipcase depicts the facade of a Gothic building with a central rose window with a pin-hole in the middle. On the reverse it is incribed: 'Veduta del Tunnel, sotto il, Tamigi, riconosciuta perfetta, da Mr Jugaro, che la vedere ed ammiro, percorrendolo nel 1862' (View of the Tunnel, under the, Thames, perfectly recognised, by Mr Jugaro, who saw and admired it while on his journey in 1862'
