Velvet Warp:
Material: silk, Z twist, doubled. Three colours in each channel: red, pale blue, white, green, beige, yellow. Blue and green predominate whilst the other colours are introduced into the pile warp channels when required.
Thread count/cm: 11 per cm

Weft: 4 wefts: 1 foundation weft, 1 squeezing wefts, 1 supporting weft, 1 brocading weft
Proportion: 2 wefts, 1 rod, 2 metal wefts, 1 supporting weft and 1 squeezing weft.
