This print depicts the three Sheridan sisters, Helen Blackwood (left), Caroline Norton (centre), and Georgiana Seymour (right), who were daughters of Thomas Sheridan (1775-1817) and granddaughters of playwright and theatre manager Richard Brinsley Sheridan (1751-1816). In Regency society they were known as 'the Three Graces' due to their beauty, intelligence and wit.
