Teapot and lid in soft-paste porcelain painted in enamels and gilded. The body of circular section, the handle of double intertwined type with leaf-moulded terminals, the spout curved and with scalloped moulding , the body and cover both painted with Chinese figures in 'famille rose' style; the remainder of the body and cover decorated with gilt lotus scroll pattern interrupted by panels of puce landscape with figures.
