Teddy Bear
1950s-1960s (manufactured)
Artist/Maker | |
Place of origin |
Teddy bears from Eastern Europe tend to have a different look to those from the West. Their design is often chunky because they have been stuffed very solidly and they can be quite heavy. The facial features tend to be quite small in comparison to the size of the head which sometimes results in a stern expression.
