The three-quarter length portrait shows Bernhardt standing facing forwards in a light, leaf embroidered dress with a fabric flowers at her right shoulder. She has a jewelled belt and is holding a fan in her hands. On the reverse are three smaller newpaper cuttings showing Bernhardt. The top left image is a print showing her sitting with a cane in a floral embroidered dress. The top right image shows her in the same dress, with her back turned looking left. The bottom image shows her sitting in a lightly coloured coat with a fur lining. |
