Object history
Worn and given by Mr. Aubrey Esson-Scott (World Punting Champion, 1929-34)
When acquired by the Beaton collection this suit was worn with a Cartier tie-pin of gold and pearl, but this does not appear to have come to the V&A.

The cravat is not originally part of the ensemble.

Historical significance: Another of Aubrey Esson-Scott's complete outfits with a full set of accessories.
