Object history | An original design croquis (sketch) by Suzan Rooke for Kenzo shows that this fabric would have been used for the front of a simple cream sweater, with the floral motif dominating the front of the otherwise single-coloured garment. The sketch is now in the Prints, Drawings and Paintings department. The swatch attached to this sketch was cut from the upper left hand corner of this textile sample. - Daniel Milford-Cottam (02/03/2017) |
