Place of origin |
Boxed toy ray gun. The gun is made from silver and black plastic, it has a large rear pistol grip inside which two C-batteries would be inserted to operate the gun's electronic lights. There are four lights in total: one large, white light at the gun's 'muzzle', and a row of three smaller lights below. The three smaller lights are located behind coloured filters, respectively, from top to bottom, red, yellow and blue.
With the gun are three caps which can be fitted over the main light. These can be used to project images. Each has a different cut-out, respectively a human figure, a spacecraft and a wheeled vehicle.
The original packaging consists of a printed card box and internal card support. There is a set of printed paper operating instructions. There is also a small, transparent plastic tube, which would have been used as a tool to remove the small lightbulbs.
