Photographic print of a scene from a production of Hamlet, at the Kingsway Theatre, August 25th 1925. The landscape images shows a court scene in a large room with two long windows, a chandelier and dark patterned wallpaper. Sitting on the steps, away from the rest of the group is Hamlet played by Colin Keith-Johnston. He is in modern dress, wearing a dark suit and black tie looking towards the camera. Behind him, raised above the steps is the court group, including fourteen men and women. They are looking towards the King played by Frank Vosper and the Queen played by Dorothy Massingham. There are a further five court members standing looking up at the couple from the right of the image.
