The landscape images shows a scene taking place in a graveyard with white graves in the background and a dark curtain backdrop. At the fore of the image are three characters in modern dress. On the left is Horatio played by Alan Howland, he is wearing a black suit with a grey hat and is standing in profile looking towards the gravedigger at the centre of the image. The next character to the right is Hamlet played by Colin Keith Johnston, he is wearing a dark grey suit with high white socks and is kneeling by the open grave and reaching into it with his left hand. The character inside the grave is the gravedigger played by Cedric Hardwicke, he is wearing a white striped shirt with a black waistcoat and bowler hat.
