Photographic print of a scene from a production of Hamlet, at the Kingsway Theatre, August 25th 1925. The portrait image shows two characters interracting. On the left is Polonius, played by A. Bromley Davenport. He is in modern dress wearing a long black jacket and suit with a striped black and silver tie. He has grey haid and is looking above the camera with his hands at his stomach. On the right is Hamlet, played by Colin Keith-Johnston. He is wearing a similar suit with a black tie, he is holding a book in his left hand and pointing to its contents with his right hand whilst holding it towards Polonius.
