Physical description
Printed certificate issued by the 'Grande Chancellerie de La Légion d'Honneur', with its embossed mark and manuscript additions. Issued in conjunction with the bestowal of the Légion d'Honneur, printed with a border of laurel and acanthus leaves and an engraved image of the medal. Printed and embossed with the general details of the honour, with manuscript additions giving the place of its issue as Paris, the name of the recipient as Madame Schiller known as Yvette Guilbert, her birth date as 9 Juillet 1865, the date of its issue as 9 July 1932 and the nukber of the certificate, 177040.
