The photograph shows Autolycus (Arthur Whitby) and Florizel (Dennis Neilson-Terry) standing together arm in arm, having exchanged clothes. Autolycus, in hat and long coat, raises his right arm; Florizel, with pedlar's pack, raises his left arm and looks aloft. To centre left, Perdita (Cathleen Nesbitt) looks on in delight, while Camillo (Stanley Drewitt) watches, right. They stand in front of the shepherds' cottage.
