Collette Dinnigan is one of Australia’s most successful and widely recognised womenswear designers. She is known for her often whimsical, feminine, and highly embellished designs, as well as her bridalwear. Dinnigan was the first Australian designer to launch a ready-to-wear collection in Paris in 1995, and in 1996 was invited by the Chambre Syndicale de la Haute Couture to show at Paris Fashion Week.

Worn on the catwalk Collette Dinnigan is an Australian-based fashion designed who launched her career in 1990 with a collection of luxury lingerie. Five years later the Chambre Syndicale de la Haute Couture invited her to show in Paris. In 1998 Dinnigan returned to present her Autumn/Winter collection at the Carousel du Louvre under the art direction of Baz Luhrmann and Catherine Martin, with styling by Lucy Ferry.
