Costume design by Peter Goffin for a chorus member in Act II of The Gondoliers, Princes Theatre, 1958. The design features a full length, profile, image of a male figure dressed in a long deep maroon jacket over a green and cream striped waistcoat with dark grey close fitting knee breeches and pale grey gaiters. His gaze is directed towards a point in the distance and he is carrying a short, narrow staff, or whip, in his left hand.
