When Stella McCartney launched her lingerie range with leading intimate apparel company Bendon in 2008, she spoke of her long-standing interest in lingerie and its influence on her ready-to-wear collections, 'This is a natural progression for me. Lingerie is an obsession of mine'.

Conversely, when designing lingerie, McCartney's mainline collections are her starting point.
