The photograph features a scene with Gladys Cooper as Antjs and Dennis Eadie as Jonkheer Ian Van der Bom. Cooper is standing to the left hand side of a table which is positioned at the centre of the scene. She is leaning slightly forward and her gaze is directed towards the length of fabric she is holding between her hands. Eadie is seated in a chair at the right side of the table. He is holding a narrow staff between his hands and he is leaning backwards, his gaze directed towards the fabric which Cooper is holding.
