The photograph features a scene in a formal room, the three women are shown seated next to a table which is set for afternoon tea. The women are looking towards one another, engaged in conversation, the younger girl (Silver), is shown leaning on the arm of the sofa, her gaze directed towards Scott, and her hands clasped before her. The print is mounted on cream paper.
