The photograph features a scene in a formal room, Wylford is shown seated in a chair, her elbow resting on its arm, and her gaze directed towards the viewer. McKinnel is seated in the chair to her right, leaning towards her, his gaze directed towards a point in the distance. Vibart is shown standing to McKinnel's left, his right hand in his pocket, and his left, holding a cigarette. He is looking down towards the seated figures.
