Physical description
Photographic print of a scene from a production of The Hypocrites, at Hick's Theatre, 27th August, 1907. The photograph features a scene in a formal room, with a patterned carpet on the floor and paintings mounted on the walls. A number of men and women are present in the room. Four of these figures are grouped around a circular table which is positioned at the front left side of the scene. They are looking towards another man who stands at the centre of the room, a bowler hat clasped in his left hand, returning the gaze of this group. Two other figures, a man and a woman, are positioned to the far right of the image. The woman is facing towards the man, her hands reaching up towards him. His gaze is directed towards her, his arms clasped behind his back. The photograph has been mounted on thick, cream paper.
