Photographic print showing a scene from a production of The Witch, at the Royal Court Theatre, 31st January 1911. The photograph features a scene in which there is an empty room, possibly the interior of a church. The room is dominated by a large window, positioned in the centre of the rear wall. Beneath this window, which is framed by two hanging curtains, is an alter, itself surrounded by a number of candles in high stands. This section of the room is raised above the remainder, and is positioned at the top of a small flight of steps.
