Photographic print showing Lillah McCarthy as Anne Pedersdotter, together with J.H. Brewer as Absolon, in a scene from a production of The Witch, at the Royal Court Theatre, 31st January 1911. The photograph features a scene showing a room lined with wooden panelling, in the foreground is a table, with benches either side. McCarthy is positioned to the left of the table, she is standing in profile, her arms outstretched in front of her and her gaze directed towards Brewer who is seated in the chair beside her. Brewer is shown in profile, his arms are resting on the arms of his chair and his gaze is directed upwards towards McCarthy.
