Nijinska’s Theatre Choregraphique gave three performances at Malvern Assembly Rooms – a matinee and evening performance on Friday 14 August and evening performance on Saturday 15 August. The programme consisted of “Touring” Ballet Revue, A Night on a bare mountain, Le Gignol Humoresque, Holy Etudes and a divertissement of Musical Snuff Box, Trepak, Mazurka, Politzien Dances. In addition Orchestral Selections were played under Conductor W.J. C. Hekker and the Entertainer, Arthur Russell, appeared in interludes in both halves of the programme.
In the days before computers seats would be crossed off on the seating plan when the tickets were sold by the box office staff.

Physical description
Plan used by box office staff to mark-off the tickets that they sold for each performance. The printed plan is headed ‘MALVERN ASSEMBLY ROOMS and markings the position of the stage, moveable platform (orchestra under), folding doors, and sixteen rows of seats on the floor of the hall. A pencil line has been drawn between rows H and J and the seats in rows A-H are mostly crossed off. At the bottom of the plan is printed UNRESERVED SEATS.
In ink are added the words Russian Ballet Aug 14th and Aug 14th 8 o/c (ie 8 o’clock or 20.00). Further numbers are written on the plan in pencil.
