Rose at His Majesty's Theatre, April 8th 1936, directed by Maurice Colbourne. The cast was Ivor Novello (Lord George Hell), Vivien Leigh (Jenny Mere), Isabel Jeans (La Gambogi), Marius Goring (Amor), Carl Harbord (Mercury), Stafford Hilliard, Viola Tree, Joan Swinstead, Philip Desborough, Godfrey Kenton, Peter Graves, Charles Lefeaux, Philip Pearman, Geoffrey Gunn, Clive Donald, Kenneth Buckley, Malcolm Russell, and Dorothy Batley. |
